I was three days late with a dose because of travel and then spent a week unsure whether I had reset something or simply shifted it.

The bit I cannot resolve on my own is whether a dose three days late resets the ladder or just shifts it.

Happy to be told the question itself is wrong.

Missed dose question about a missed dose: I'm 2 days late on my injection. Should I take it now or wait until my regular day?

UPDATE: Called my provider — they said take it now and resume my regular schedule next week. Apparently being a few days late isn't a big deal as long as you don't double up.

That is right, and it stops being right at the edges. The general case is well behaved; the interesting cases in this thread are all at the boundary where the general case breaks.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.

This is my experience too, for whatever a second data point is worth.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice. If two explanations both fit, the useful question is which one predicts something the other does not. That is answerable; arguing about which sounds more plausible is not.

Correct me if the detail matters more than I have assumed.
