One year in with EmPower Pharmacy and figured I owe the community a thorough write-up. I've placed 14 orders total — 10 for semaglutide and 4 for tirzepatide. Pricing: - Semaglutide 5mg/2mL vials: started at $149, now $159 (price bump in November 2025) - Tirzepatide 30mg/3mL vials: $289 - Free shipping on orders over $200, otherwise $12.95 flat rate Quality: I've had three separate orders tested via Janoshik. HPLC purity results: - Sema batch #EM-0824: 98.2% - Sema batch #EM-0225: 97.8% - Tirz batch #EM-1125: 96.9% All within acceptable range. The tirz was slightly lower than I'd like but still above the 96% threshold most people go by. Shipping: Average 3-4 business days to the East Coast. Always arrives with cold packs in insulated packaging. One time during July it arrived warm but that was a FedEx issue — EmPower reshipped no questions asked. Customer Service: This is where they really shine. Response time is consistently under 2 hours via email, and their phone line actually has real humans. My prescribing provider is also through them and renewal has been seamless every 3 months. Overall: 8.5/10. Slight ding for the price increase and that one tirz purity number.

Great review. I've been with them 8 months and can confirm the customer service is legitimately good. Had a vial arrive with a hairline crack once and they overnighted a replacement plus threw in bacteriostatic water for free. My HPLC from Janoshik on a sema vial (batch #EM-0624) came back at 98.6% so purity has been very consistent for me. I will say I think their tirzepatide has gotten better — my early batches were around 95-96% and now my latest was 97.4%. Price is fair for a US-based 503B pharmacy with actual FDA oversight imo.

Thanks for the detailed write-up. We always appreciate year-long reviews because they capture consistency (or lack thereof) over time. For anyone reading — EmPower is a licensed 503B outsourcing facility, which means they're subject to FDA inspection. That's a meaningful distinction from some of the other "vendors" discussed here. Not saying 503A compounders are bad, just different regulatory frameworks. Pinning this to the EmPower megathread.

This is super helpful. I'm about to start my first order with them. Quick question — do they require a prescription from their own providers or can I use my existing doctor? My PCP is willing to prescribe semaglutide but I want to fill through EmPower for the compounded version.

You can use your own provider. They accept external prescriptions. Your PCP just needs to send it to their pharmacy directly. I use my own endo and it's been zero issues. If you go through their telehealth it's an extra $49 for the initial consult and $29 for follow-ups every 3 months. Not terrible but if you already have a prescriber there's no reason.
