One order arrived in nine days, one was held at the border for a fortnight, and one came back with a seizure notice. Same route, same declaration wording.

What I am trying to establish is which of the variables in a cross-border order actually determine the outcome, and which are superstition.

Not looking for reassurance. Looking for the part I have got wrong.

Taking the question as asked, rather than the general version of it. Prices dramatically below market are the strongest single signal, and the reason is arithmetic rather than suspicion. Synthesis, testing, and cold-chain shipping have floors. A price well under the floor means something was skipped, and the two things that get skipped are testing and content.

Agreed, with a caveat about community reputation: it is a lagging indicator. Reports arrive weeks after orders, so a supplier can look excellent for a month after quality has already changed.

Right, and one flattering data point from a group buy is not consistency. Consistency means separate batches, separately commissioned, over months.

Adding the clinical framing, because it changes how the question reads.

My experience ordering cross-border ordering internationally: I've ordered from an Indian manufacturer. Customs can be hit or miss.

Shipping time: 14-28 days
Customs clearance: required import documentation
Quality: Janoshik tested at 98.1% purity

International ordering adds complexity but can save 60-80% compared to US prices. Research your country's import laws first.
