It helps to ask what evidence would change your mind before you look at any.

Coming at Dr.SurgeonPGH’s question from a different direction. Whatever the answer turns out to be, the method for getting there is the same: state the assumption, do the arithmetic in public, and invite the correction. That is slower than asserting, and it is the only version that survives being wrong.

Happy to go further on any of that.

The figures, for anyone assembling their own picture. Worth stating the units and the reference range whenever you post a number here. A large fraction of the apparent disagreement in these threads is two people using different units and both being right.

One thing that is still open after Dr.SurgeonPGH’s answer:

What did you change at the same time, and can you separate the two now?

Pushing back on DanielChem_CHI here. I would resist the confidence. Half of what this board was certain about two years ago has since been quietly dropped, and nobody went back to correct the threads.

That is the short version; the long version is somebody else's post.

Agreed, with the usual condition: that holds for the average and this board is a collection of individuals. A population claim and a personal prediction are different things and get quoted interchangeably.
