My labs after 3 months on glycaemic control: A1C 6.2%, fasting glucose 87 mg/dL, fasting insulin 4 uIU/mL.

Agreed, with the usual condition: that holds for the average and this board is a collection of individuals. A population claim and a personal prediction are different things and get quoted interchangeably.

Genuinely useful, thank you. I had the facts and not the framework. Printing the relevant bit and taking it with me.

I read this differently from paige_pharma, on substance rather than tone. Not convinced. The evidence being cited is consistent with the conclusion and also consistent with two other conclusions nobody has ruled out.

One concrete data point for the thread. If you are going to change something, change one thing and give it long enough to express itself. Four weeks is the usual minimum for anything pharmacological on this board, and two weeks of data has told you almost nothing.

Moderator note: good thread. Keeping it here rather than moving it, because the question is general enough to be useful. Carry on.
