I held the step an extra three weeks instead of stepping back down, and it settled. Same dose, same everything, just more time — which is exactly what was suggested upthread.
The figures, for anyone assembling their own picture. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.

Old thread, but it comes up first when you search for this, so it is worth updating. Practical: whatever you change, write down the date and the reason. In three months the reason is what you will have forgotten, and the reason is what makes the record worth having.
Correct me if the detail matters more than I have assumed.
