I read this differently from kate.chem, on substance rather than tone. Not convinced. The evidence being cited is consistent with the conclusion and also consistent with two other conclusions nobody has ruled out.

The figures, for anyone assembling their own picture. Give anything pharmacological four weeks before you judge it, and give anything measured weekly a four-point rolling average before you call it a trend.

Adding the part of the answer the thread has not reached. Start from the measurement rather than the conclusion. Almost every disagreement here turns out to be two people measuring different things and comparing the numbers anyway.

One thing that is still open after AussieAnna’s answer:

Was that from a primary source or from a summary of one?

For the archive: it took about six weeks rather than the two I expected, and the difference between those two numbers was the whole of my problem.
