The GIP arm is doing real work rather than padding the label.

Clinical perspective, offered as context rather than as advice.

Month 6 update on sleep apnoea: down 48 lbs from my starting weight of 293 lbs. Here's what's changed beyond the scale:

  • No longer pre-diabetic (A1C normalized)
  • Off blood pressure medication
  • Can tie my shoes without getting winded
  • Sleep apnea resolved — returned my CPAP
  • Confidence level: through the roof

This medication has genuinely given me my life back. I'm not exaggerating. 🙌

Steady state is faster than people expect: half-life about five days, so you are at plateau in roughly three to four weeks rather than five.

Sleep changes on sleep apnoea: anyone else sleeping differently? I've been sleeping better since starting week 2.

My theory: the weight loss has improved my sleep apnea (confirmed by recent sleep study — AHI dropped from 25 to 6). Better oxygenation at night = better sleep quality = more energy during the day. It's a virtuous cycle.

Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. If you are going to change something, change one thing and give it long enough to express itself. Four weeks is the usual minimum for anything pharmacological on this board, and two weeks of data has told you almost nothing.

Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

Moderator note: the sourcing question belongs in the vendor section and has been split out.
