One concrete data point for the thread. If you are comparing against somebody else’s result, check that you are comparing the same measurement taken the same way. Most of the apparent contradictions in these threads dissolve at that step.

That is the short version; the long version is somebody else's post.

What the phase 2 dropout pattern implies about how the phase 3 tolerability will read?

Coming at PharmacoVig_BOS’s question from a different direction. Order of operations matters more than any single choice here: establish a baseline, change one thing, wait long enough for it to express itself, then measure again under the same conditions.

Reporting back.

Rereading it with the dropout table open changed my view. I still think it is the most interesting molecule in the pipeline; I no longer think the 24% is the number that will end up on a label.

True, with the qualification that this is a self-selected group. The people for whom it did not work post less, and that shapes everything we think we know.
