Comprehensive lipid panel update relevant to the lipid panel: Marker Baseline 6 Months 12 Months Reference Total Cholesterol 261 196 186 <200 LDL…

True, and it depends on a baseline nobody has stated. Without knowing where someone started, the same number can be an excellent result or a disappointing one.

Genuinely useful, thank you. I had the facts and not the framework. Adding it to my notes with a link back to this thread.

I read this differently from hyun_seoul, on substance rather than tone. Filing an objection on the n=1 problem. Personal experience is genuine evidence about one person and very weak evidence about anybody else, and this thread keeps promoting the first into the second.

I would rather be corrected than agreed with, if it comes to it.

Adding the numbers, since they settle part of this. Practical: whatever you change, write down the date and the reason. In three months the reason is what you will have forgotten, and the reason is what makes the record worth having.

Ask again with the specifics and you will get a better answer than this one.

Moderator note: two posts asking for a source have been merged into one. Please search the thread before asking again. No action needed from anybody.
