Training does two things here and only one of them is on the scale.

Exercise-induced nausea amplification with training: I learned the hard way that intense exercise within 36 hours of injection can make nausea much worse. The combination of delayed gastric emptying + exercise-induced blood flow redistribution is rough on the GI system.

My workaround: inject Friday evening, do low-intensity activity Saturday, and save my intense workouts for Tuesday-Thursday when the GI effects have subsided. Timing your training around your injection schedule is a real optimization strategy.

Following on from james_edin — and this may be the naive question:

What did you change at the same time, and can you separate the two now?

Coming at SleepDoc_PDX’s question from a different direction. The version of this that has an answer is narrower than the version being asked. Narrow it and it becomes tractable; leave it broad and the thread will produce nine confident and incompatible replies.

Closing the loop on my own question.

Coming back a few months on. It held. Nothing dramatic to report, which is the report.

That is right for the common case. Whether it is right for the case being asked about depends on a detail that has not been given.
