The single most useful discipline is bringing the whole panel to a clinician rather than one flagged value.

Blood work came back perfect. baseline bloodwork + this community = winning. 🏆

One thing that is still open after Dr.RheumBOS’s answer:

How often to repeat it, because quarterly seems to be the convention and I cannot find the reasoning?

Shot day Wednesday report relevant to baseline bloodwork:

Week 33. Currently on 15mg. Down 59 lbs from starting weight of 271 lbs.

This week's observations: Mild fatigue day 1-2 post-injection, then fine.

Labs due next week — looking forward to seeing the metabolic panel. I'll post results in the Lab Results section when they come in.

Closing the loop on my own question.

Took the whole panel in rather than the one flagged line, and the conversation lasted two minutes instead of generating three more tests.

That is correct as far as it goes, and here is where it stops going. One addition: if the lab changes analytical platform between your draws, the comparison breaks and nobody tells you. It is worth asking when a value moves inexplicably.

If somebody has the primary source to hand I would rather cite it than paraphrase it.
